That Movie Gay #2016

It's only mid way through 2016 and I might have found my movie (or at least top 3) movie of the year, MONEY MONSTER is out now!



So Sydney's weather SUX BALLS this weekend and poor old Vivid, man thank god for all those sold out concerts right! Who in there right mind would want to be walking around Sydney (one of the most rain UNFRIENDLY cities in the world) to look at lights and "installations".

So there is Sydney right now in a paragraph and this film really should shot straight to number one of the Aussie box office next week. And with the East Coast suffering a F load of rain, Hoyts, Dendy, Greater Union or Event Cinemas should all be laughing all the way to the over priced popcorn money machines.

Money Monster is a rare Thriller in the 2016 films cape. We have superhero films, we have Disney films, we have action films, re have reboots, we have sequels, we have shit house dramas like Julia Roberts last outing, Mother's Day but a good thriller is hard to find. However FOUND ONE.

Money Monster has a ridiculous good cast, from TV heroes Dominic West (Showtime's best drama The Affair) to Caitriona Balfe (the epic Outlander) and then the queens and kings of Hollywood in Clooney and Roberts. Both who excel in this riveting, edge of your seat, borrow, steal or rush out to buy a ticket film of my weekend.

The Nice Guys was great, X-Men was average and this was plain Next Level shit. Such a solid and well told story which I will give you no spoilers, just Jodie Foster, get back in that Directors chair ASAP. I mean as a director Cameron Crowe couldn't direct piss into a bucket in his recent films (ALOHA worst film of a decade) but Foster just seems to do this with ease.

This film was outstanding, I'm doing it, 5 GOLDEN stars, just a great all round film.
