Cinema Slut #2019 - After

God the reviews were bad, but shit this was some Twilight basic type shit. Who read this fucking book? Are they OK? After was badly acted and poorly cast, with no real names except an unrecognisable Selma Blair this is a summer stinker. But a sequel is on the way.

I guess when you have no real talent in the film, wages are cheap. With a fourteen million dollar budget the film is currently sitting at just under seventy million in box office, so in a sense it's a big success for the studio.

I am having an anti Disney moment a present, with Toy Story 4, Aladdin and once it's here The Lion King hogging all the screens across the country at present, it's hard for decent films, like my review last week for the brilliant, Parasite to reach an audience.

God help any Australian films that want a release in 2019 on the big screen.

Anyway here is the trailer for After, I can hardly wait for 2020 when the sequel lands....



Somehow the trailer has almost 39 million views, shit!

Ok, this was basic, dull and super predictable, one star for Shane Paul McGhie as Landon Gibson.
