I was lucky enough to one see Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan a week before release, review posted yesterday.

Now it's time for this week's big release Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
So it's a spin off of the Fast & Furious franchise but honestly it's better. Statham and Johnson have a great thing going on, this is a funny, fast paced action film.
The car chases are slightly reduced, however the action is killer, add a half human, half terminator bad guy Idris Elba as Brixton Lore.
It's also fun seeing Helen Mirren make her mark again, whilst Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart also have a small role to play.
This is a fun film, it doesn't take itself too seriously at all, it is a breathe of fresh air to be honest.
No awards will be won for this film but honestly Statham, Johnson and Vanessa Kirby all work so well together.
In a recent weeks the cinemas have been filled with dull Disney remake, after Disney sequel or reboot, this is real popcorn shit right here.
