Countdown: Wentworth (Season 8)

In less than 2 weeks Australia's best drama on Foxtel returns, Wentworth for Season 8. Also known as Wentworth: Redemption this year. The ten episode 8th season commences on Tuesday 28 July.

Now with a content void to fill the series filmed late last year, is a great winter filler. Whilst the three commercial networks gear up for the next round of reality shit, Foxtel is flexin' hard with its most popular original drama to date.

Not to mention the Freak aka Joan Ferguson rejoins the fold, whilst other newcomers include Ann Reynolds (Jane Hall), Lou Kelly (Kate Box), Judy Bryant (Vivienne Awosoga), Reb Keane (Zoe Terakes), and Sheila Bausch (Marta Dusseldorp).

This season promises big things and with only two weeks to wait, I am beside myself. Foxtel have been teasing a number of promos recently, so take a look for yourself.


I can't wait for this. With Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story concluding today/tonight (USA times), Blindspot approaching its final ever episode and The 100 + Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. also about to wrap their respective swan songs.

2020 will have an interesting rest of the year for TV. With little production happening right now, there is going to be a shortage soon.

Thank god I have two seasons of Hanna to catch up on. Not to mention I am already hooked on new STAN title P Valley.
