Evil stars Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Michael Emerson, Aasif Mandvi, Kurt Fuller, Marti Matulis, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco, Dalya Knapp and Christine Lahti.
This is one of the first exclusive Paramount+ series since it launched in Australia. Prior to the second season starting, the series was renewed for a third season. Most likely to commence in 2022.
The second season has a 94% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Now that is high! Evil slips into the streaming world with a spooky second season that doubles down on the scares without losing its sense of humor.
It's slightly odd, it feels a little like a modern day X Files with a religious streak.
I enjoyed the 13 episodes which commenced all the way back in June. Mike Colter is dreamy AF while the show is fairly fast paced with the added bonus of having the freedoms of course language now it's playing on a streaming platform.
It also got a little more sexy this time around.
The first season commenced on Stan. Now if you are a fan you need to get onto the Paramount+ train. Dexter's reboot starts next month, I am intrigued by American Rust (a new Showtime original, Stan missed out on) and can't wait to watch the OG Melrose Place series again.
I will also review the second season of Five Bedrooms. Similar to Evil, it commenced on Channel Ten. Now it's an exclusive Paramount+ title.
