The third season of The Masked Singer Australia premiered back on Monday, 13 September 2021. With Anastasia being revealed as the Vampire, therefore the winner of the third season.
It was a much bigger season for names, season one struggled to pull decent names. For example Rob Mills and Cody Simpson (his girlfriend appeared in this season, which was maybe the biggest letdown of a reveal) were the biggest names of the opening season.
Then lockdown happened. Celebrities availability opened up, big time!
Kate Miller-Heidke and Christine Anu for me were highlights in the second season. However the lowlights were Channel Ten stars like Julia Morris and former tennis player, Mark Philippoussis.
This season saw Macy Gray, Ben Lee and Killing Heidi's Ella Hooper all appear. This for me was like a 90's superstar playlist.
Jack Vidgen and the Mullet's Axle Whitehead were the biggest letdowns. So who knows who will sign up for the show next year. It was a massive commitment watching the show three nights a week as peak US TV heated up. Lucky for lockdown. Which is now OVER! Thanks for the memories Gladys.
