Power Book IV: Force is in my mind the best of the Power spin-offs since the OG series concluded sometime ago.
Never fear though, Power Book III: Raising Kanan commences early next month.
Force had a giant, action packed second season. Unfortunately as I write this, the show has not yet been renewed for a third season. However episode ten, Power Powder Respect, left us on a real cliffhanger.
Also how many bodies piled up in this second season. I felt like every week there was a semi major character biting the dust. Or in Tommy Flanagan's as Walter Flynn midway through the season we saw a major hit.
The second season commenced on September 1, on Stan in Australia, Starz in the USA.
Joseph Sikora as Tommy Egan is extremely charismatic as the lead gangster. Tommy's family expands in Chicago following his departure from New York.
Following his cameo in Power Book II: Ghost, Tommy really started to fire up Chicago.
This was an extremely enjoyable, brisk season. With only one week off the season, all ten episodes have now wrapped. I am really hoping we get to continue Tommy's adventures across Chicago. Also is his mum OK? Where is Mireya Garcia?
Still more of a story to come here. Stan really do rely heavily on this Power franchise. So for Stan's sake, give it another go Starz. Please!
