Scorchin' Summer Streamin' 25 - Hotel Costiera - Season One/Series Finale

Hotel Costiera is an English-language with a touch of Italian in this (now) one and done Amazon series.

Not as wild and fun as Malice in Greece, this Italian series tries to be an action/drama even a comedy at times.

Starring hunky Grey's Anatomy hunk, Jesse Williams as Daniel "DD" De Luca, a fixer at a luxury hotel on the Amalfi Coast. 

I missed this when it was originally released in late September, but recently, the series was canceled after one season. It isn't Amazon's normal teeny bopper romance or even macho action series, the show lies in no man's land. Not as twisted as The Girlfriend, whilst not as addictive and full on as Malice.

The Amalfi Coast does look incredible though. As does Daniel De Luca, a former Marine, returns to Italy to work at a luxury hotel in Positano. Shortly thereafter, the owner's daughter disappears, and De Luca is tasked with finding her.

So if like me, your 2025 has been full on, you need an escape, maybe this is your next binge.

Also it's the week of the hit series Fallout returning to the streamer with a solid 2026 outlook. Deadloch, Cross, The Boys, Nicole Kidman in Scarpetta, with Reacher and it's spin-off on also on the way TBC too.
