Winter finally has arrived. Well kinda, it's still around the low 20's, but people are staying indoors, damn. Not sure what Q3's series will be called yet, but it will kick off with Stan's epic Aussie series, The Killings at Parrish Station.
Now let's look at Aussie content for the past quarter. Well done to Paramount+'s Two Years Later. Also starring Heather Mitchell, who also lead's The Killings at Parrish Station.
Bad Company was a little bit of a letdown from Anne Edmonds and Kitty. The ABC also gave us the sketch version of Urzila.
Whilst the third and final season of Heartbreak High, was a real let down.
Disney+ takes home the prize for the biggest series for Public Holiday Fest Streaming 26'. The Testaments was pure excellence across its first season. It's a hard act to follow, however the sequel to The Handmaid's Tale was outstanding.
That said, Tip Toe was a super close second. Binge did well to actually score a decent series. Luckily Colin from Accounts, returns this month to Binge.
Half Man was also UK excellence over on Stan, whilst Hacks totally finished on a high, also on Stan. Not finishing on a high was Euphoria. That was a tragic third season. Not just the deaths, but the whole fucking plot line.
