Silver Screen in 2017 {The Disaster Artist}

Have you ever gone into a movie, expecting nothing and midway through thinking to yourself, fuck this is good, well that was my eureka moment during The Disaster Artist.

James & Dave Franco star in this star studded film with one of the best soundtracks of 2017. I think this even had better music than Baby Driver.

Now unfortunately I already posted my Best Movies of 2017 early Friday morning so I may need to revise this after The Disaster Artist, also Star Wars opens this Thursday.

James Franco as real life Tommy Wiseau and film creator of The Room is really neat stuff. The Room is a cult hit, Franco does a sensational job recreating the 90's with Corona, Kylie and Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch blaring out of the cinema speakers.

The Franco brothers are so god damn good in this film you find yourself in the Room and in the mood at the end of the film wanting more.

Please if you see one movie this end of year madness period make it The Disaster Artist, honestly it was so good, it gave me faith again in the movies after a so so year on the big screen.

What are your favourite films of 2017? Does this make your list? Speaking of lists all Summer long Flashing off the Record is celebrating music lists, today it's Summer Festival acts, check it out now...

So this golden Summer film, 4.5 double the Franco fun Stars.
