Movie Matinee Madness - Venom

Why did Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams and the extremely talented Riz Ahmed star in this extreme pile of shit? Money?

This film is dreadful, the last Avengers wasn't great, it was filler, but at least it wasn't as much of a mess as this.



I'm going to keep it short like the editors should have done, the entire lead up to Hardy turning into Venom, the first hour was honestly so dull.

Add a car/motorcycle chase, a lame final showdown and the predictable plot set up for future films (which surely Hardy won't sign on for, right?) this film following a couple of Netflix comic book cancellations might mean less comic book stars on the big screen. We can only hope.

Now Deadpool is the rude super hero/villain, Black Panther has shown diversity in Marvel and Wonder Woman shows women can kick butt too, can we have a break from some of the average Marvel/DC characters?

1 Star, this was one of the worst films of the year, easy.
