The NIMA Awards were on over the weekend, Baker Boy had a second year of dominating the awards, whilst Woorabinda neo-soul wonder Miiesha won this year's New Talent of the Year award.
This is following the release of her first mini-album Nyaaringu earlier this year. The album was in fact was also a feature album over on my other blog, Flashing off the Record.
Released late May, 2020 the album came as the world struggled with boredom and #STAYHOME. You can view some of Miiesha's earlier work on her Triple J Unearthed profile as well as stream her debut Nyaaringu below.
