Claire Nakazawa, Beatrice Lewis, Mie Nakazawa make up Haiku Hands, they are the latest (Mini) Monday Spotlight acts for 2020.
Hailing from both Sydney and Melbourne, the Nakazawa sisters are from Sydney and Lewis is from Melbourne.
The group have played Groovin The Moo and Listen Out, Splendour in the Grass, St Jerome's Laneway Festival, Wonderland Scarehouse Tour, Pitch Festival and Party In The Paddock. The group have also supported Flight Facilities and Bloc Party whilst they toured with Sofi Tukker when they popped down to Australia.
Their debut album was released back on 11 September 2020. It's taken me a while to give them a feature. To be honest despite everything in 2020, there have been a lot of new acts coming through giving us solid releases. So a big fat sorry to Haiku Hands for the delayed feature. Jupiter honestly hooked me in back in 2018.
