Summer Streamin' 25 - Hysteria! - Season One

Hysteria! is bit of a hoot! I added it to my binge list on Binge, all eight episodes of the first season premiered last October.

The comedy horror-thriller series set deep into the 80's created by Matthew Scott Kane, kicks off in 1989. 

Julie Bowen leads as Linda Campbell, with Emjay Anthony, Chiara Aurelia, Kezii Curtis, Nikki Hahn, Anna Camp, Bruce Campbell, Nolan North, Garret Dillahunt, Elijah Richardson, Milly Shapiro, Allison Scagliotti, and Jessica Treska.

Hysteria! kicks with Satanic panic, a beloved varsity quarterback's disappearance causes whispers of occult activity and Satanic influence throughout the town of Happy Hollow, Michigan. 

Dylan, Jordy, and Spud, a trio of outcasts in a struggling heavy metal band called Dethkrunch, decide to capitalise on the town’s sudden interest in the occult by rebranding themselves as a Satanic metal band, which leads to them becoming the targets of the town's witch hunt. 

Especially when a bizarre series of murders, kidnappings, and reported "supernatural activity" begin happening.

This was a seriously easy watch. There has been a lot to catch up on this summer. I slept on this, however it was a pleasant, camp surprise. Speaking of camp, Anna Camp was seriously fire in this series.

If you need a little horror in your life, stop watching the news and start watching Hysteria!. The town really turns into Sky after dark viewers real quick across the limited eight episode run.
