November/December TV Finales - The Mandalorian (Season Two)

*Already renewed for a third season, with three spin-off series announced in December 2020 will expand on the series' timeline: The Book of Boba Fett, Rangers of the New Republic, and Ahsoka.

OK this is by far the biggest and best show of 2020. Baby Yoda has captured people's hearts (again) and The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) just melted my heart on a number of occasions.

The show is huge, the hype is real. The series looks a million bucks (probably costs way more, but Disney budget) with action scenes American network TV could only dream of.

The show is apparently set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983), however major Star Wars fans have told me this may not be entirely true.

The 8 episode season commenced on Disney+ October 30, 2020. Now as we are set to close the door on 2020, we are waiting for a third season to arrive. Ming-Na Wen (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) as Fennec Shand gets a larger role whilst being announced for the Boba Fett spin off, The Book of Boba Fett.

Speaking of Boba Fet (Temuera Morrison ) clearly with the spin off announced plays a large role in season two. Another character getting a spin off is Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.

The eight episodes flew by, Baby Yoda (Grogu / The Child) got cuter, his sounds got more adorable helping us all get through the shit show that 2020 was giving us in real time outside of Disney's galaxy hopping series.

If you are a fan you would have already watched both seasons of The Mandalorian, if not, why not, get on it ASAP! You could almost hear all the nerds cum with the big reveal at the end of season two. What a climax, what closure, where do we go in season three? Time will only tell.

Disney+ is already expanding its hold on the streaming world. With big Marvel series coming, a pile of Star Wars series on the way, Netflix better watch out.

Whilst I have always found Disney greedy and just froze (not a dig at Frozen) out the remainder of the market. Disney as a brand has extremely high and positive brand recognition which puts The Mandalorian in a solid place.

I for one can't wait for season three. Bring on 2021!
