Betty is the latest series I have just wrapped up viewing last night following episode six being uploaded asap to Binge in Australia.
Next week its a wrap for All American, The Flash and Kung Fu. Whilst Binge also uploaded the entire third and final season of Mr Inbetween so look out for more July TV Finales this coming week.
Betty is created by Crystal Moselle with the series based on Moselle's 2018 film Skate Kitchen.
Betty received positive critical reception, although HBO has yet to renew a third season. With Lovecraft Country recently cancelled HBO, clearly HBO is happy to cancel even successful series. Time will tell whether Betty will be back in 2022?
So is Betty worth a look? Well across the two seasons you will get 12, 25-26 minute episodes. Over this lockdown period, you can probably do the two skateboarding through NYC in an afternoon or two.
Oh boy these are strange times the USA (including a large number of filming sites in Canada) and other parts of the world are at least keeping us entertained.
New TV that has just landed Dr Death (Stan), American Horror Stories (Binge), Mr Inbetween (Binge), First Wives Club (Stan) and The White Lotus is a new series from HBO landing on Binge.
