July TV Finales - The Flash - Season Seven

The seventh season of The Flash concluded this week, following its delayed debut on March 2, 2021. With The Flash generally commencing in October, this six month delay along with its shortest season yet. Just 18 episodes this year, down from the cut short 19 episodes in 2020.

The season picks up where season six dropped off unexpectedly with, Barry trying to stop Eva McCulloch. Also trying to find a way to locate his missing wife Iris West-Allen.

Grant Gustin (who's contract is apparently up next season) continues to star as Barry Allen/The Flash. Alongside Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Nicolet, Efrat Dor, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin,Kayla Compton and Brandon McKnight.

However this is the last season for Valdes and Cavanagh as series regulars. 

With these major two stars departing, does this spell the end for The Flash? With the series already renewed for an eighth season which will commence on November 16, 2021.

I am really banking on the next season being the eighth and final season. The CW already has a pile of more popular shows now on its roster. With Superman and Lois, Walker and Kung Fu all proving popular new hits at the station.
