From the man behind Yellowstone (including 1923 and 1883), Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown and Lawman: Bass Reeves comes Special Ops: Lioness.
Like Rabbit/Hole before, Lioness is a spy thriller television series created by Taylor Sheridan.
Similar to Rabbit/Hole it streams on Paramount+. Commencing back in July, the eight episode run concluded early last month. The series however only just has a pass of 53% on Rotten Tomatoes. So what's it about?
Force Recon Marine Cruz Manuelos is tasked with befriending the daughter of a terrorist financer who is on the CIA’s kill list.
With no second season announced yet, fingers will be crossed now I binged the entire first run. It stars an all-star cast too. Zoe Saldaña leads along with Nicole Kidman, Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Hannah Love Lanier, Michael Kelly and finally Morgan Freeman.
With a stellar performance by Zoe Saldaña and Laysla De Oliveira lets hope Paramount+ gives this spy series a second run. That said it's from their leading content provider Taylor Sheridan, so surely that has to count for something right?
