Dead and Buried is yet another four parter on Stan from our British/Irish friends. This one comes from Virgin Media Television & BBC Northern Ireland Television.
Starring Annabel Scholey & Colin Morgan. Dead and Buried is created by Colin Bateman, it is a four-part adaptation of his play Bag for Life. It is directed by Laura Way.
So whats this stage play turned miniseries about? Some things are better laid to rest. Cathy's (Scholey) chance run-in with her brother's killer (Michael played by Colin Morgan) ignites a twisted quest for revenge.
I never watched Merlin, however some viewers may well recognise Colin Morgan from that fantasy series.
So this lives on Stan in Australia like a pile of UK miniseries that seem to land almost weekly.
It is nothing incredible, however the story is believable. How a simple catfish incident can lead to massive, life changing series of events.
I did enjoy this easy watch with zero special effects and a smaller ensemble cast.
If you need a little thriller to sneak your teeth into maybe Dead and Buried could be for you! Less finales this week, just The Old Man's second global season on Disney+ while Only Murders in the Building & Grotesquerie will wrap next week.
Incoming the final series of Cobra Kai continues on Netflix, Special Ops: Lioness returns for the second series and the final run of Somebody Somewhere also lands on Binge. So much TV to conclude 2024!
