Public Holiday Fest Streaming 26' - Scarpetta - Season One

Scarpetta is my latest Amazon binge, along with the finale of the Public Holiday Fest Streaming 26' series.

Developed by Liz Sarnoff & based on the book series of the same name by Patricia Cornwell, Scarpetta stars Nicole Kidman as the titular character as Dr. Kay Scarpetta.

Scarpetta is a forensic pathologist who uses forensic technology to solve crimes. Alongside Kidman, adopted Aussie Bobby Cannavale, Jamie Lee Curtis, real Aussie Simon Baker, Rosy McEwen, Jacob Lumet Cannavale, Hunter Parrish, plus Ariana DeBose all star. 

Yeah its a good cast! How good is having Hunter Parrish back on the idiot box!

I'm struggling to keep up with all the Amazon content, with this title landing back in March. All eight episodes landed on the same day.

This week the Legally Blonde series, Elle also streams all eight episodes.

Kay Scarpetta (Kidman) is a brilliant forensic pathologist. Inspired by former Virginia Chief Medical Examiner Marcella Farinelli Fierro, she employs advanced forensic technology to unravel mysteries and solve crimes.

Settings include Florida, Virginia, and Charleston, South Carolina. The same month season one was released, the second season had started production. Just another series to continue watching on Amazon, now The Boys has wrapped up.

Amazon has done a great job this year (thus far). With Deadloch's second season, The Boys wrapping up, Off Campus (even though it's a straight copy cat of Heated Rivalry), the long awaited return of The Night Manager, Steal and the horny 56 Days.

A remake of Carrie is on the way, whilst The Boys lives on in Vought Rising next year. What a streaming time to be alive.

 Scarpetta isn't perfect, but damn Jamie Lee Curtis was good in this!
