Boo, Bitch is about as silly as its title. However it was an easy, breezy 20-30 minute x eight episode binge on Netflix.
It's a teenage comedy miniseries created by Tim Schauer, Kuba Soltysiak, Erin Ehrlich and Lauren Iungerich.
Like Uncoupled this premiered on Netflix on July, 2022. However this was nowhere near as funny as the previously mentioned Neil Patrick Harris series.
Starring Lana Condor, Zoe Colletti, Mason Versaw, Aparna Brielle, and Tenzing Norgay Trainor. It's a most new squad to TV for me. Or maybe I am just getting older LOL
Spoiler alert, episode eight went down like.....
Erika realizes that Gia was invisible to everyone except her and Gavin since she was a ghost. Erika asks for a sign of what to do, and she receives a message telling her to go to prom.
Gia appears at prom and says goodbye to Erika and dances with Gavin. Erika gives a speech honouring Gia's memory, and as all the students chant Gia's name, she ascends.
Erika reconciles with Jake C. and her classmates. In college, Erika sees a sign that Gia is still with her and smiles. It's an old school lava lamp. Something I actually own.
Boo Bitch was no masterpiece. It was a little less amusing than Uncoupled. However it was a bit of light fluff which I needed this week.
Up in coming weeks, Perry Mason concludes its second run, the Last King of the Cross along with Class of 07 will be reviewed. Not to mention additional local content from Netflix, Wellmania. There is a sea of new Australia drama out there right now. Comes on MAFS has finished so give some scripted local series a go!
