The October long weekend is closing in. Thank god really. Along with a few TV shows concluding soon (Fantasy Island, Reservation Dogs, Dear White People & the latest Power spin off), my weekly Wentworth rant along with a slate of new shows coming in October. It's time to again face the music. Similar to my other blog Flashing off the Record, its time to feature three up and coming acts over the first long weekend since June.
It's been a long ass winter in Sydney. No gym, no films, no friends and family. However I truly feel October is going to be better. It has to be better. I need a haircut hot damn!
October will also see a buffet of new and returning TV. The Walking Dead's World Beyond concludes with its second and final season. Stan will launch new Peacock series One of Us is Lying, looks interesting while The Equalizer with Queen Latifah is back for its second season.
Network series like Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, All American and The Blacklist return. Whilst US cable and streaming favourites The Sinner, You, Fear the Walking Dead, Hightown, Insecure and Succession return. Alongside newcomers Chucky and fellow horror film turned series I Know What You Did Last Summer.
I look forward to bringing music back to this blog with Wentworth returning right here tomorrow after last nights explosive fourth episode!
