MAY DAY (TV Month): Billions {Season 2 - Finale}

Billions has never been my favourite all of all favourite shows but this season has stepped it up a notch.

After a dodgy bondage scene early on in the piece with main character 1) Paul Giamatti and the resurrection of main character 2) Damian Lewis the Showtime king of Homeland.

Showtime loves it's regular killer stars so it was no surprise the queen of Weeds Mary Louise Parker rolled in as a guest this season.



But Taylor Mason stole the season AKA Asia Kate Dillion. The non binary identifying genius. Not only was the season finale a good point of no return for this show however it's back for another season in 2018.

This show had a great idea on paper for a single season but now the show is one of Showtimes gems in the small crown of hit shows currently airing and going head to head not only with HBO but Netflix.

A show about money and excess in my mind is interesting in parts but it was all about the relationships, the development of the characters this season. I enjoyed it more than the first however as I said this show could have again wrapped up neatly. SPOLERISH ALERT - it ends all neat and tidy but with enough up but with Asia Kate Dillion signed on for season three, I am sure this show will continue to expand and improve, if all I am reading online is right, I am not alone in saying Season 2 was way more enjoyable than the first.
