From Dubbo to Sydney

So after doing the Sydney Roar and Snore it was time to check out the local Dubbo scene at the Western Plains Zoo. And can I just say Western Plains Zoo what an amazing playground for the animals, the fences are hidden so from a drive around the Zoo it almost looks like the animals are running free.

Great Zoo, great time had by all.

The drive through the mountains on the other hand, Barry O Farrell, you have a big job ahead of you, that road through the Blue Mountains, the Western Slowway, a disgrace! It is one of the worst pieces of road in this state, just terrible.

The small towns on the way too and from were also a hoot, from Orange to Lithgow it never ceases to surprise me Country Folk, they definitely are a lot different to us city folk. And this is not a bad thing, just a very different thing.

The Roar and Snore experiences, back to what this original entry was meant to be about, and Taronga Zoo (Sydney) is one of the most romantic and special events ever. The view is delightful and the program is so well run and enjoyable. The Dubbo one is a little more back to nature but seeing those stars in the sky on the night walk was amazing, the sky was spectacular!

So overall Roar and Snore in Dubbo or Sydney has something for all, just lovely!
