When Mardi Gras meets Future & Soundwave drop in for a Threesome in Sin City

What a PACKED weekend it is in Sydney! Sin City x3 major events/festivals this weekend, leading the charge is the Mardi Gras in full swing after Fair Day fucked up parking in my neck of the woods and Mardi Gras events like Matthew Mitcham takes his cabaret show "Twists & Turns" to the stage at the Seymour and Sandra B hits the Enmore.

Can't comment on Sandra B but Matthew Mitcham (as distracted) as I was, was actually a bit of fun.

Future Music Festival and Soundwave both compete for the music lovers dollars this weekend and who will win? Well both festivals totally target separate markets, once dance + drugs, one metal/cock rock + bogan antics.

Not too mention whilst this skin parade is happening it's also Lunar New Year. Hells bells it's a cultural clash of the Titans. The Chinese/Asian Community and the bogans of this fine nation.

I won't go into that as that's a much bigger piece.

So Sydney it's the last day of Summer and people are out in the busloads so what do I do, get a massage and pop off to the cinema (review posted tomorrow AM).

Sydney really is special in Summer and the atmosphere is amazing. Why on Earth do I question my life in Sydney from time to time? Is it all the people pushing and shoving? Is it all the arrogance and self loving. Or is that just 2015 when everything thinks there Facebook page is better than the next person? Their tweet is more witty than the last or their Instagram photo is the best picture ever published of an Asian meal?

Sydney people FUCKING love themselves sick and I feel I am getting there. I fear I have lost all care factor, today as I washed my hands after pee number 101 (fucking hell I have female friends who have pushed out three children and have better bladders than me) and I sprayed water all over the front of me. Did I care? No I walked up George Street, brought my movie ticket and flicked my weave.

It's nearly 30 degrees and frankly who is looking at me? No one I answer my own question, 90% of the people I walked past were starring at their phones, 5% were rushing past me and only 1 person or the last rough 5% happened to me an old man who starred at the wet patch. So clearly he was here for Mardi Gras and maybe wanted my male member closer to his.

Sydney, three festivals, one cultural occasion and me not giving a fuck. What a great start to the weekend and another fine blog past for you lovely readers.

Happy Saturday, Lunar New Year & Happy Mardi Gras xo

Oh God....

So I am not shy in saying how disgusted I am with our current "leader". Unlike conservative reporters, bloggers, broadcasters, I believe in progress, change and moving forward (thanks Julia).

Australia is at a complete stand still where I find on a daily basis I find myself interacting with at least one complete brain dead individual and when our leader is one of the most uninspiring and demoralising human beings is hardly strange people are aiming low.

Education is key, unbiased information reporting in media is a must. If you're in Sydney and read the Daily Telegraph you probably vote Liberal and hate anyone who isn't white, straight and married with 2.5 kids. If you read the Herald you probably are slightly more educated and vote Labor (or maybe the Greens) and if you read the Australian you more than likely vote Liberal but are the more educated conservative.

Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with holding traditional values but come on people look to the future, climate change, it's real, internet speed in this country is no laughing matter and immigration, Scott Morrison and now Peter Dutton you both are a disgrace and I have no idea how you sleep at night. Don't get me started on George Brandis that man is the devil in a blue tie.

Also after seeing Julia Gillard as our leader this country has a fucked up sense of how to treat a woman in power.

So with this said, it's no surprise a revolution is coming, the next federal election will be a blood bath for the Liberal Government unless they remove Abbott and start fixing all the broken promises and poor bills put forward.

Abbottsolutely hopeless campaign from ADVISION on Vimeo.

It's no surprise to me that Australians all over are not happy. After stuff up after stuff up, it's really time for you Mr Abbott for the good of the country, for people who care about the future (not just next weeks Newspoll - which I am horrified after scare tactics the Liberals are rolling out AGAIN!) for you to call it a day.

You're a joke and a bad one at that, stop trying to scare the people of Australia, listen to your co workers as there is more than 40% of Australia unhappy with you. Please, please, please leave quietly and let's just forget this horrible mess you have created.

#I'mNotDavidNorMargaret, Film Reviews My Way 2015

It didn't really win any Oscars (other than the Best Original Song by Common & John Legend) but SELMA really packs a punch.

The violence was rough and raw and the story was horrifying that only a few decades ago America was in such a bad way. How racial laws could be so backwards and how acceptance was such a long way off. I guess as an Australian we don't have a clean record either with our horrid treatment of the Aboriginals.

David Owelowo is great as King and I do love a real life story these days and to be honest there were moments of Selma like Foxcatcher where it all felt a little drawn out. There was a lot to cover and at times you jumped weeks and at times there appeared to be not a lot happening playing out on the screen in front of you.

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the movie, hated the violence and thought fucking hell I love seeing a conservative government look like complete fools. I'm sorry conservative folk out there CHANGE and PROGRESS is inevitable, you can bang on about beliefs and values and core issues but I'm telling you, you can't fight change.

This movie made me realise why conservatives generally lose. The Alabama Governor in real life and how he was portrayed in this film should be ashamed of himself. All humans, black, white or whatever are all the same deep down. Mr Abbott and his latest statements should also know this.

Marginalising minorities may appeal to the small minded however the educated and inner city dwellers know this is joust covering up the fact you have NOTHING else to sell. Like a budget from almost a year ago.

Ok I have gone way off track. Selma it's worth a look in and interesting to see how history unfortunately repeats itself. Unfortunately in 2015 conservatives are live and kicking and spreading hate hidden in their agendas.

Selma rates a solid 3.5 Stars.

#I'mNotDavidNorMargaret, Film Reviews My Way 2015

After 50 Shades I desperately wanted to see a good film, a film with an intelligent amazing woman, not some lame ass Uni student working at a hardware store then dancing to Rihanna's S&M beat, so when WILD had been in my diary for months to check out at St George Open Air Cinema I was beside myself.

Holy fuck balls this movie was good and Reese Witherspoon's production company is off to an AMAZING start!

Pacific Standard were behind Gone Girl and Wild there second effort starring 50% of the all girl power team at Pacific Standard is another gold star winning film.

Based on the true life of Cheryl Strayed and her walk across the monster track the Pacific Crest Trail Wild is a joy, I left inspired and happy that in dark times even something amazing can happen.

After hitting rock bottom and her mother passing suddenly (played beautifully by Laura Dern) Witherspoon sets off on the Pacific Crest Trail. It looks like such a great personal experience, I would love to do it less the camping. Walking thorough the wilderness, being alone with ones thoughts is my dream and nightmare all rolled into one.

This movie was PERFECT at St George Open Air with bats flying over us the sounds of the Botanic Gardens in the background, pure bliss.

I had an amazing time and just loved every minute of this film. With the incoming Academy Awards it's no wonder Witherspoon and Dern are up for big awards.

If you get a chance this weekend go WILD and experience this truly life changing moment for Strayed and Witherspoon getting that career back on track. 4.5 Stars.

GALLIPOLI - TV EVENT OF THE YEAR

Yeah fucking right...

Not a SINGLE major city last night pulled more than 200,000 viewers for this TV event of the year. Totalling only 580,000 viewers and the 19th most watched show of the evening. Last week second most watched show of the night and 1.1 million viewers.

Haemorrhaging around 50% of it's viewers Channel Nine must be nervous. According to Wikipedia this is a 7 part series, how low will episode 7 rate?? And with the Block not the hottest show on the block this year they don't have much of a lead in.

Is Australia bored of War series after Anzac Girls on ABC last year and a pile of War films in recent months, American Sniper, Unbroken, The Water Diviner & The Imitation Game.

Before Channel Nine calls their next TV event of a year they should maybe do a wee bit of market research, cause this is DEFINITELY not the TV event of 2015.

That said I watched a fuck load of TV last night and I saw some stellar stuff. From Girls and a great heartbreaking episode to Looking Season 2 which is finding it's feet and the characters are really starting to grow on me. Whilst Shameless (US) was just gripping and gut wrenching in this week US episode.

And to be 100% there were some sex scenes on Shameless last night which were WAY hotter than anything in 50 Shades of Fuck me I'm bored as shit get me home.

Not to mention a stellar Q&A and Media Watch, I just really love Malcolm Turnbull and my god Lisa Wilkinson, maybe sitting next to a hair in a can type dude like Karl makes you seem dull on morning TV but on your own you shine baby girl.

Lisa and Malcolm performed extremely well on a challenging Q&A with all things Bali 9 and Tony Abbotts appalling week where "Good Government" was meant to start????

All in all, TV event of the Year, it ain't Gallipoli and I dare say it won't be on Channel 9 either.

The House of Hancock..

Oh my word Claudia Karvan I love you and I even love Peta Sergeant (Satisfaction fame - now that show had some sex scenes 50 Shades) but this mini-series was just low budget trash.

Unfortunately for poor old Gina Rinehart she ended up getting this mini series far more publicity than it deserved. Let's be honest most Australians unless employed by you or like mining dislike you and fail to understand your greed, but honey no one cares about this mini series so nor should you. You would have been better saving your money (not that you have to), getting your hairs did and nails did and look presentable for once in your life.

The news articles in the lead up to this were free publicity for the second part of as Miranda Devine labelled it "trashy" and basically babes I have to agree with you. Peta Sergeant was also comical as Rose Hancock and Sam Neill just didn't cut it for, Rhonda has just been way to over exposed (almost at the levels of Vile Kyle or Karl from the Today Show) and I am getting the feeling we are about to see a whole lot more of her in Love Child when it eventually returns.

Australia I urge you to make more drama but when this is the final product I feel a little disappointed. At least Hiding improved out of sight for episode two. Same could not be said for Winter which looks like another cop show, same formula, winning Channel 7 personality and the odd guest star.

Oh well 2015 is still early, however if Channel 9 is saying Gallipoli is the TV event on 2015, what on Earth is going to be delivered for the next 10 months? The House of Rinehart, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here (Season 2) (I actually shouldn't joke apparently it's on the cards, now some celebrities have seen they get more attention for appearing on this shit) or another worn out series of the Block?

Come on Australia it's time to pull your socks up.

#I'mNotDavidNorMargaret, Film Reviews My Way 2015

This is one of the headrest (that's what she said) films to review, I'm talking about FIFTY SHADES OF GREY.

I had never read the book, basically knew the plot and knew (and blogged about) how many tickets in tickets this movie (soon to be movie franchise) had sold in advance.

First up let's check out the trailer.

Now the idea of releasing this on Valentine's Day is gold, releasing the next film Fifty Shades Darker next Valentine's Day would just continue this cash cow. The cash doesn't just come from advance/general ticket sales, the soundtrack is the number one album around Australia this week, apparently their is some rather horrid merch on offer too.

So the film, it's average at best. The sex is not sexual nor arousing. Dakota Johnson as a virgin, fuck off and Jamie Dornan (who has done a full frontal nude photo shoot in the past) staying clothed (expect for a large number of shirtless scenes) for the most part of the film is extremely lame.

Never being into S&M myself (except for the Rihanna hit a few years back, actually the remixes more than the original) I found this odd. It's not romantic, neither of them seem that into it and frankly it ended like the last Hunger Games film, incomplete and like a television series cliffhanger.

Clever marketing team.

The music pumps and grooves throughout the film, almost like a 2 hour ad for music from Sia, Ellie Goulding, The Weeknd and more....

The soundtrack stinks of recent Twilight & Hunger Games efforts (both featuring Sia in the past and the later Hunger Games featuring that song "Elastic Heart") getting as many SO HOT right now acts and some up and coming acts (little known urban artist Beyonce features heavily - JOKES!) to contribute and build the hype for this film.

Released weeks apart songs from the soundtrack have dominated (sorry) the iTunes chart and proved to keep my girl Sia all over the charts.

Look this movie is nothing more than a marketing vessel for:

1. Upcoming sequels
2. Soundtrack sales
3. Cable ties from Bunnings
4. Books (both this book and the other two in the series)
5. And today I have seen multiple sexy toy, lube, goat weed horny pills all relying on the film to promote sales of their respective products.

Apple also is all over this film. Laptops, iPhones and the like it's a marketing cluster fuck. Forget suggestive product placement, some of this film is like a fully paid premium piece.

OK so any bad reviews are a waste of time, this film is already a monster success, so that said, I would go into the play room with Jamie Dornan so I guess in a way, Success I was hooked. 2.5 JUST pass marking Stars for this so so soft core porn major cinema release. Let's be honest I have seen sexier scenes on Today Tonight re-enactment scenes (RIP Today Tonight).

Why EMPIRE is the best new show of the season

I know I keep banging on about EMPIRE but it truly is wonderful and episode 6 cemented this fact for me. With the introduction of Courtney Love's washed up music superstar character and a wonderful soundtrack over the top of pretty people, it's a perfect mix.

EMPIRE has been wonderful from the pilot, the episodes continue to build an audience (unlike I'm a Celebrity, shedding viewers by the day) and the music on iTunes is surely just going to be another great revenue stream for this show.

How to Get Away with Murder is also great however by episode 12 you wonder a) is it getting a second series b) where on earth would it go and c) I love the fact that episode 1 has just aired in Australia. PS Channel 7 Facebook is not geo targeted by US TV shows so SPOILER ALERT! And starting Revenge this week, babes it's been playing since last September come the fuck on.

People wonder why illegal downloads are so big in this country? Well here is the truth, we are a country of hard working busy individuals who love to make the most of our long Summer days, we work hard, play hard and want our content when we are ready for it. Not a Channel 7 time slot of 9pm which actually turns out to be 9:13pm.

Sorry rant over.

Back to Empire, this show is DIVINE for so many reasons but COOKIE definitely steals the show and in the first scene of this episode (Episode 6 - I'm on US time here) and boy it's CAMP!

Empire it's the best new thing on US TV and I just can't wait to get into the NBC's remake of the ABC hit series The Slap. Expect a review soon, well maybe if I remember.

To convince you of Empire take a look below people, it's HOT!

Loves it! Happy V Day y'all xo

Sex Sells or Does It???

That got your Friday attention right, you bunch of perverts.

So Fifty Shades opened last night, already 1 out of around 20 people in my boot camp this morning went opening day, that's 5% (if my Friday AM maths is correct) and with me attending and other gays in the groups also going in for a peek a boo, I would say by Monday at least 20-30% of the group (sample size of roughly 20) will have seen the film.

For a small sample size this is proof this film is going to smash the box office this weekend. There are already pieces on how it's performing in pre sales and no doubt it will smash American Sniper and Kingsman out of the water this weekend. I booked my tickets exactly one week out and I got the last two seats in the cinema.

Last time this happened to me was buying tickets on the day to Into the Woods on a rather shitty day and a good day for movie going.

Backing up onto Valentines Day, the songs from the films doing well on the iTunes chart and merchandise and books about to race of the shelf. This is a marketing dream.

Next on sex sells, Daniel Johns. Silverchair gone, RnB grooves hello and a sexy video to boot:

However sex is not working for this song thus far, but hello side boob video. A lot of songs and tracks these days benefit from a fancy video, just look at Sia "Elastic Heart" was originally released on 2013 however with a Shia LaBeof music video it's top of the Aussie Singles chart week in, week out.

I am hoping sex does sell for Daniel Johns because this show has increasingly grown on me. I am a huge fan of his previous works and now this is just a a great new & exciting chapter in his career. What will the rest of the EP sound like? Is my next big question.

Ok so until tomorrow when hopefully I post up a Valentine's Day Fifty Shades video, sex is selling and it's Valentine's Day, now bang on some sexy music....

Winter V Hiding

Two new Australian series started recently and I'll be damned two networks (well the ABC has always supported Aussie Drama, Channel 7 has it's moments) have launched their hopeful dramas for 2015.

Hiding on ABC uses some old Seven talent and tries hard but to me it was lacking something, time will tell and I will give it another episode or two. Hell I gave the Straits an entire season FML.

Winter sees Rebecca Gibney (the golden Channel 7 child, after Lisa McCune wrapped on Blue Heelers) to a role she played last in the tele movie - the Killing Field. With a few characters returning from the Telemovie it kind of felt like an extension of the telemovie and it kinda worked. I will be interested to see how long this will keep the Channel 7 viewers hooked. After all this would be a similar demo to a Place to Call Home, where viewers will now be forced to flick over to Foxtel if they want to see series 3 & 4.

So Winter aired last night (it's second episode) and tonight is the second episode of Hiding the James Stewart (Packed to the Rafters), Lincoln Younes (Home & Away) & Marcus Graham (E-Street fame - oh hi Wheels) series.

Time will tell how they both do but I feel Winter has the GP appeal and Hiding might just disappear like the wonderful Time of Our Lives. God damn that was a good show.

#I'mNotDavidNorMargaret, Film Reviews My Way 2015

What can I say about THE GAMBLER, starring one of my favourite all time singer turned actors Marky Mark. I mean Mark Wahlberg. Also starring one of my all time favourite American Horror Story stars Ms Jessica Lange. However seeing John Goodman minus a shirt a few times in the film was a little distressing, that said let's check out the trailer together...

Apologies John Goodman was shirtless in that trailer too.

Oh well to my review of sorts. I had read a few reviews, seen little marketing for the movie (let's be honest in the world of films right now, it's 50 Shades or bust - right??)and had been told not to expect too much so with low expectations I actually came out enjoying this drama.

Despite the fact the drama was nothing like what we saw on 7:30 or Q&A this week.

Why the hell am I agreeing with Alan Jones now??? Next thing I know I will end up seeing the musical Anything Goes... Actually that looks totally suboptimal so let's take that back.

Back to the drama, you never really care too much about Wahlberg (I was wanting more skin) his character is low and uninspired and his teaching style for the other side of his character was frightful.

Look it's a busy time at the cinema at this time of the year so I would suggest if you up for a marathon, maybe do Still Alice, Kingsman and then the Gambler. Leave 50 Shades for a few weeks as reportedly it's sold over 50,000 advance tickets. That be cray!

Ok so what do I give it out of five, it had promise and I didn't love Foxcatcher and gave it three stars so I am sticking with that as my score for movies I like, but don't love. 3 Stars for hunky Mark as he continues to age well and Jessica Lange, damn baby doll you are FAB x

#I'mNotDavidNorMargaret, Film Reviews My Way 2015

The deeply disturbing film from my weekend of movie going had to be FOXCATCHER. The multiple nominated film for performances by Steve Carell, Mark Ruffalo & Channing Tatum & the film in general to me was good, however extremely drawn out and slow moving.

Look don't get me wrong I enjoyed the film (well I did more after two toilet breaks) however I just found this extremely drawn out and the long stares between Carell and almost everyone nearly did my head in.

The true story element of the film stays with you long after you leave the cinema and you can see exactly why the actors are slaying it at the Awards season this year. That said Julianne Moore in Still Alice is still my queen. And that's after a three film weekend.

Tatum as well to me I struggled with, after watching the Magic Mike XXL preview this week I found myself hoping and wishing he would do the full monty in one of his wrestling kits. It's no wonder so many gays have fantasies about wresting cause right now all I could think of was Tatum and another Foxcatcher team member having some private time to a Stevie Wonder classic.

Yeah that's right.

OK before I get too silly this is a true (crime) story and mostly a horrific story of a crazed rich man and his decent into madness.

Look if you have a spare few hours to kill and you feel like watching some amazing acting, this is for you, if you want some light fluff, Kingsman: The Secret Service or Mortdecai could be more your cup of tea.

Foxcatcher is a good film, just needs some swift editing, 3 Stars.

#I'mNotDavidNorMargaret, Film Reviews My Way 2015

Silly films can sometimes be the most fun and that is the case with MORTDECAI. Johnny Depp is delicious in this role and Gwyneth Paltrow, fuck that clean eating shit is working, SHE looks beyond amazing, radiant and just a vision.

Olivia Munn is delightful as a sex freak and Ewan McGregor is just wonderful as an out of luck love sick Mi-5 agent.

The film is mostly stupid but there are some brilliant one liners and I found myself constantly (in between seeping my orange, pineapple and ginger juice laughing to myself. The UK looking at the USA was hilarious and when Johnny Depp lands in this fancy but wanky hotel he has some wonderful exchanges.

I mostly liked this film, like Kingsman (which I saw earlier that day - double feature Saturday - FUCK YEAH) it was a little long but overall satisfying. Unlike the poor reviews and bad US opening weekend it appeared to have I enjoyed myself and I saw bring on the Gambler & 50 Shades this week.

Oh yeah it's movies a go go time of the year. Not to the all important ranking. I had fun and couldn't stop smiling so for that it can't be flawed 3.5 bat shit crazy Depp on acid Stars.

#I'mNotDavidNorMargaret, Film Reviews My Way 2015

So I'm not the world's biggest Colin Firth fan but I am soon becoming upcoming and coming star of KINGSMAN: THE SECERT SERVICE Taron Egerton's.

He was one smoking hot boy, even for a white boy, don't believe me here's the trailer.

This movie was SUPER fun, comedic violence with well staged action scenes and Colin Firth being just so damn English made this film a hit in my eyes.

Samuel L Jackson is wonderful as the token bad guy with a truly evil assistant in Sofia Boutella, man that bitch scared the shit out of me,

So when there are so many films on at the movies now why see this? It's stylish, well done and I am secretly hoping for a sequel/spin off or SOMETHING, please!

I don't want to ruin any plot points but take my word, men/women, date nights or just boys nights out this film will not disappoint. It was a little long towards the climax (that's what she said) but overall I enjoyed myself like I used to as a child watching Gi-Joe cartoons.

Good old English fashioned fun, 4 Stars for this spy/action picture with some unpredictable plot points.

And PS the trailer does not spoil this film AT ALL.

February O February

How the HELL is it February already! January flew by at a rate of knots and I can't believe we are in the second month of 2015 already. The holiday season/summer slack period feels like a long distant memory and it's business as usual all around the shop.

Valentines Day is looming, Easter Eggs are at your local Coles and soon I am sure Halloween treats will be on display.

Why does time speed by the older you get?

I can remember waking up New Years Day thinking "this will be my year" now I am already 1/12 through the year is it my year? All the regular TV shows are back, movies are coming out thick and fast (you will notice I had a good couple of weeks of smashing a few films out - next week (Tuesday) The Gambler will be viewed) and music is back on the immediate release/leaking of albums and new artists all over the airwaves.

Triple J's Hottest 100 a memory, Laneway Festival 2015 a memory, Sydney Festival, wait no one remembers that this year. How did we get to February 7, 2015. How did all the excitement of the promos for I'm a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here lead to, well nothing, how did the Superbowl come and go with Katy Perry and her Firework. Yes this year could be a record year for speed.

So to help me and you out dear readers it's time to look ahead at some exciting things on the horizon.

Magic Mike XXL, best trailer of the season so far, check it out.

Watched by 5.5M people so far, this film is going to be BIG! Come July it's Ladies Night every night at the cinema.

The TV event of 2015 (no not fucking Galliopoli Channel 9, no offence but if that's what you are calling the TV event of 2015 and it's on this early on in the year. Shit the rest of the year is gonna be a bit lame right? Unless you have a TV event of the year every month) Game of Thrones it's coming...

Madonna's Rebel Heart is all but all over the net but next month it's released, will anyone by it or will it be yet another Madonna flop. Please girl stop trying to be young, release mature music, you may just find an audience you seem to crave.

Still prefer the demo version of this song, again leaked all over the intranets.

So it's a big year and those three moments are just the start. Australian music is going to be huge, hopefully the ABC finds its feet again after last years cuts, Triple J will continue to play more "real" female artists than other networks but get given the sexist card, Tony Abbott will be replaced, Rupert Murdoch will attack anyone he wants to make an example of and Alan Jones will make a MASSIVE ass of himself on Q&A next week.

Not to mention the fact he is cast in the musical Anything Goes. What a nightmare, I could only imagine him backstage around the change rooms. We all remember those stories of when you were a coach of an Australian sporting team.

Until next time. It's the weekend, relax and 2015 could be your year xo

The Opposite to I'm a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here

So it's official I'm a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here, has now (since my first bitchy post) dropped to less than half it's original viewers (1.2M) now 588,000. This is a terrible start to the year for Channel 10 and with limited new shows on the horizon for the troubled Network thank god they have decided to move Empire from 11 to 10. This show has gradually grown a good audience and also been renewed for a second season.

Let's hope Channel 10 does not fuck viewers over by scheduling it, pulling it, changing nights, allowing I'm a Celebrity... running over time or being a lead in for this show. Channel 10, just schedule it for 8:30pm on a Sunday, leave it there, it will grow and start it on time. OK?

Channel 10 has had some good dramas in the past, Puberty Blues and Secrets & Lies to name two. Offspring was one of their most popular however Party Tricks was just fucking awful, proving Asher Keddie can do wrong. Can the network please ditch being the third network to show shit reality and build on drama.

Shift Neighbours back to the main network, and just fix shit up generally, it's not hard:

6pm - 7pm - The Project (Move Family Feud earlier, at least put news up against news)
7pm - Neighbours (put it against Home & Away - they are both cheap shit local dramas)
7:30pm - 8:30pm - You Can't Compete with The Block & MKR, so roll out Simpsons re runs
8:30pm - 9:30pm:
Sunday - Empire
Monday - NCIS
Tuesday - NCIS - LA
Wednesday - Wonderland (if you have too, but fuck this show is lame too, at least some Aussie actors have a gig)
Thursday - Law & Order SUV
Friday - Film, no one watches TV on a Friday

There you have it Channel 10 programming it's that easy, fuck off reality bull shit and start from scratch, re build, but DON'T try anymore reality shit, no one cares, look at the numbers, half your audience only a few nights in.

Bloody hell, come on Channel Ten pull your socks up!

Who's a Celebrity & Why is anyone watching???

It's not looking good for reality new kid on the block (no pun intended) I'm a non Celebrity Get Me Outta Here. Opened up with almost 1.2 million viewers and the fourth most watched show of the night, Monday night (AKA night 2) down to 755K and down to the 14th most watched show of the night and last night (AKA night 3) another drop to 685K and the 13th most watched show (however a repeat of Big Bang Theory was in front of it) of the night.

It's not a promising start to the season when there is 3 reality heavyweights all in heavy traffic kicking off at 7:30pm. Got to love commercial TV in this country, lets just go wall to wall reality and hope for the best. Admittedly last night My Kitchen Rules managed 1.4M which is a damn fine effort on Aussie TV.

However I think if we look at the US and Blacklist airing after the Superbowl was watched by a massive 31 million viewers! After (at it's peak) almost 121 million viewers in total watching the Superbowl itself. Amazing stats on social media and advertising revenue and then you see figures like the I'm A Celebrity... in Australia. Yes we don't have the population but man oh man Australia let's stand up and create something we can be proud of.

Let's hope Hiding on the ABC tomorrow night will be a good start to the year!

So we have a shit Prime Minister...

As well as seeing loads of movies this week, chatting to co workers, chatting to new and exciting people there is one thing that comes up regularly. We have a super shit Prime Minister who seems so blind to how bad he is he just goes through the motions and hopes no one will notice, except...

His former friends have, Miranda Devine, Andrew Bolt and a host of conservative (toxic) commentators have all weighed in and now joined the Abbott bashing.

Look I'm sort of bored with him, his a loser, a lose cannon, has terrible policies, has lied countless times, loves a three word slogan and behaves like he is still in the opposition. Which he sort of is, he has 27% approval rating (and declining) he fronts a party which is now (likely) to lose two State elections with NSW to follow in March and on March 28, it's almost certain that the Liberals will lose to all us Inner West Left Leaning Soy Latte drinking city dwellers.

I want nothing more than a Prime Minister/leader to look up, the country needs it, we need a strong, smart leader o lead this great country beyond 2015. Tony Abbott is not what I am talking about, he is a shocking public speaker, his mocked by almost all major media, he has said some of the most unintelligent ridiculous statements ever recorded and he seems to have no idea how dreadful he is.

Can we just ditch him and move the hell on? Come on Turnbull we are looking at you, it's now or never or face another year and a half of all major media sources asking time and time again, so when is the next leadership challenge? Did it work for Kevin & Julia, no, will it work for you, definitely not, at least a handful of people liked Kevin or Julia on a good day.

So let's move on, forget the last few months of cuts to the ABC & SBS, forget the failed 2014 budget, forget the horrible treatment of refugees and just get on with making Australia great, mate.
