Well Summer so far had some MEGA hot days, a cooler Christmas, but overall HUMID as FUCK!
So with over 40 series consumed since October 1st, let's take a look at what was good, bad and the down right insane!
I finally got my HBO back on, catching up on a number of series. Including horny Canadian acquisition, Heated Rivalry. All I can say is bring on season two. HBO also got access to NZ comedy, Happiness which is on my Scorchin' Summer Streamin' 26 list!
So Aussie renewals and outlook for 2026 isn't that certain. With Stan giving away no secrets, or news on Scrublands, Black Snow, Ten Pound Poms or recent killer comedy, He Had It Coming.
Channel Seven only gave Home & Away the green light for 2026. With RFDS having a HUGE season for the network, however budgets are tight on the dying network TV gravy train.
So in Q1, I hope to catch up on Sunny Nights and Dear Life on Stan. Goolagong and Dog Park will kick off the ABC's bumper new Aussie TV catalogue. While Run lands on Binge. So Q1 is looking healthy.
Amazon also has a bright 2026 with key titles dominating in Q1 and Q2. Fallout continues, Cross commences in February, Scarpetta brings Patrica Cornwell's book series to life with Nicole Kidman, Deadloch heads to the NT in March, whilst The Boys final season kicks off in April. Amazon got it going on!
