Gretta Ray hails from Melbourne, Victoria. Ray gave us her debut album, Begin to Look Around late August. Following a couple of EP's and singles, we finally got the 15 track release from Ray.
Featuring the singles Cherish, Passion, Love Me Right, this album is a divine listen. You can stream the full release below.
We meet Gretta back in 2016. She was the winner of the national Triple J Unearthed radio competition as well as the 2016 Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition, with her song Drive.
Drive was an instant hit. Ray has also worked with Japanese Wallpaper, Odette, Xavier Dunn and Dustin Tebbutt. Whilst her hit Radio Silence was also nominated in 2020 at the APRA awards for the Most Performed Alternate Work of the Year.
So this long weekend discover a great Aussie debut album, it's Gretta Ray with Begin to Look Around.
