Brisbane band WAXX have just released their debut album, Big Grief. Written with Bernard Fanning and Grammy Award-winning producer Nick DiDia, WAXX created a blistering punk rock album.
According to Triple J with this week's feature album spot, "the riffs are sick, the energy is explosive, but once again, the highlight is the group's not-so-secret weapon: singer Maz DeVita, who manages to sound raw and pleading one moment and invincible the next".
