Well who ever thought Ben Affleck could direct a gripping and highly intense film.
This film has a major Affleck connection with Casey Affleck as the main role as a private investigator Kenzie partner with his sassy girlfriend played by Michelle Monaghan.
This film is gritty, real, heartbreaking and at times so intense you have to turn away.
Casy Affleck will definitely be up for an Oscar as will Ben for this effort. Maybe he is better suited behind the camera instead of the following examples:
Clerks 2
Saving Christmas
Gigli
And the list goes on...
This is one quality film and definitely one of the films of the year, Gone Baby Gone rates a big four and a half stars.
