So the year in film for 2011

So I thought I did an end of year wrap for movies last year, but then I couldn't find it so maybe I didn't and look it's just all too hard this close to Christmas so here is this years film wrap:

Favourite franchise that continues to scare the pants off me - Paranormal Activity 3

Favourite Violent/Arthouse film with an 80's soundtrack - Drive

Favoutire Re-Make - Footloose

Favourite Southern American True Story - The Help

Favourite 3D concert Movie - Glee (as the TV show started to suck, who knew they could go 3D on our asses)

Favourite Ape Movie - Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Favourite laugh out loud and favourite movie of 2011 - Bridesmaids, hands down the best movie in years!

Favourite Action film (featuring mutants) - X-Men - First Class

Favourite fake doco - Catfish

Favourite Lesbian movie - Black Swan

BEST hyped film of 2010 - The Social Network, who knew JT could act and be a complete tool at the same time. (X-MEN FIRST CLASS)

BEST jump out of the seat film, Paranormal Activity 2, finally a good sequel in 2010! (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 - 2 YEARS RUNNING PARANORMAL!)

BEST Teen drama/coming of age/comedy blah - Easy A, leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. (FOOTLOOSE)

BEST low budget film - The Disappearance of Alice Creed - This could be the most perfect and suspenseful film of 2010, catch it on DVD, it's awesome! (BRIDESMAIDS)

BEST blockbuster of 2010 - Tomorrow When the War Begun, great to see the Aussie's making a kick ass big budget action film (RISE OF THE PLANET OF APES)

BEST NZ/small film - Boy, love, love, loved it fully sick as bro (N/A)

BEST 3D movie - By a million and one dance moves Step Up 3D (GLEE 3D - THE REST SUCKED ADN SHOULD HAVE BEEN 2D)

BEST Aussie Movie - Animal Kingdom - Hopefully the producers of Underbelly were watching how too make crime drama without four million tits involved. (RED DOG)

BEST Music film - The Runaways - the bitch from Twilight can actually act. (BRIDEMAIDS - LONG LIVE WILSON PHILLIPS)

BEST controversial film of 2010 - Kick Ass, an 11 year old girl who murders people and says the C word, my kinda film. She made me want to have kids. (THE IN BETWEENERS MOVIE)

BEST drama - Precious - Mariah Carey, also an act, fantastic and very sad film, but well acted and inspiring. (THE HELP)

BEST musical on the big screen - this generally suck but Bran Nue Day was a fun and star studded affair, Missy Higgins, the Debutt queen, Dan Sultan, Geoffrey Rush and more, AWESOME! (GLEE/FOOTLOOSE))
