Box Office Flop or Blockbuster 2020? - Follow Me

So after a serious break from the cinema, Box Office Flop or Blockbuster 2020? is back! Let's resume with Follow Me.

I am thinking of renaming the second half of the year from Box Office Flop or Blockbuster 2020? to COVID-Cinema 2020. As so many movies are being withdrawn from release, it's going to be an interesting rest fo 2020 at the cinema.

So in Australia StudioCanal has released Follow Me, a gore porn-thriller from Escape Room (2017) director Will Wernick.

Ronen Rubinstein (who plays sexy as Tyler Kennedy "TK" Strand in 9-1-1: Lone Star) is the best part of this rather predictable and lame return to the cinema for little old me.

Here is the basic storyline -

Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars) plays social media star Cole, who travels with buddies to Moscow to film new content for his hit VLOG. He and his friends are convinced to join a game that’s promising mystery and thrills, but it’s far more deadly than any of them could have imagined. As the line between real life and social media is blurred, the group must fight to escape, and survive.

I was fairly disappointed for my return to the cinema and have to rate this as a flop. Like my last film I saw before the movies went to sleep for a number of months, this is at best a two star film.
