First Wives Club (based on the film of the same name starring Diane Keaton & co) second season has just landed on Stan. It premiered on July 15, 2021, my birthday, what a gift.
Season 2 comes over a year and half after the first season.
Michelle Buteau, Jill Scott, and Ryan Michelle Bathe return for the second season. With no word (yet) of a third season for the BET dramedy, this show is feel good to the bone.
I got through all ten thirty (or thereabouts) minute episodes in what felt like no time.
I got hooked on season one in round one of home detention so its a little ironic season two lands as home detention V2.0 is currently on. Sorry Brisbane it seems you are joining us (again!).
So if you have Stan and caught up on Power, The Republic of Sarah and Black Monday (finale review coming soon) maybe give this comedy a go.
Stan has a number of new shows on the way including Starz original Heels, which actually looks a lot of fun.
