Scorchin' Summer Streamin' 25 - The Serial Killer's Wife - Miniseries

The Serial Killer's Wife is a British drama based on the book of the same name by Alice Hunter. 

Now this was a quick catch TV moment for me, during my Scorchin' Summer Streamin' 25 series, as this landed on Paramount+ back in December 2023. The tagline for the four part trashy miniseries is, every marriage has its secrets...

When her husband is arrested on suspicion of being a serial killer, Beth Fairchild (Annabel Scholey) is certain it’s all a huge mistake. Tom (Jack Farthing) is the village doctor and a beloved member of the community. 

Yet, as she investigates, with the help of Tom's best friend Adam (Luke Treadaway), more evidence emerges that will force Beth to ask herself whether she really knows the person she married, or if she’s just lying to herself to cling onto her idyllic life?

So how trashy is The Serial Killer's Wife? Oh it's trashy!

However the four episodes whizzed by and continued my assault on catching up on UK TV. Next up is Trigger Point's third season which just landed.

This may not be Paramount+'s best title, however I did like some of the twists and turns this soapy thriller offered up. Speaking of Network Ten and Paramount+ announced their 2026 titles yesterday. You can take a look below.
