Scorchin' Summer Streamin' 25 - Watching You - Miniseries

Watching You is the latest Aussie series on Stan. Unlike previous originals the six part series screened week-to-week, with new episodes landing Friday mornings.

Watching You is adapted from J.P Pomare's novel The Last Guests. 

Stan Aisha Dee stars as the lead, following her recent appearance in entertaining Stan film, One More Shot.

Alongside Dee, Josh Helman, Chai Hansen, Laura Gordon, Olivia Vásquez, Luke Cook, Sara Wiseman, Mark Paguio, Willow Speers & Benjamin Wang, all star.

Across the six episodes, viewers follow thrill-seeking paramedic Lina (Dee) and the fallout of a single decision which threatens to upend her life. Though happily engaged to Cain (Hansen), a chance encounter with mysterious stranger Dan (Helman) triggers Lina’s desire and culminates in a passionate one-night stand in a WeStay property. 

In the aftermath, Lina discovers that the affair has been captured by a hidden camera and is blackmailed with the footage. Amid mounting threats and paranoia, she sets out to unmask an insidious voyeur, only to realise that the threat is closer and more dangerous than she could have imagined.

Now it sounds a bit trashy. It is a bit trashy. But overall it was a bit of fun. Also fun fact the WeStay property where the series was filmed, is actually right across the road from Sydney Uni!

I didn't love this as much as previous Stan series, however Stan is doing it's best to showcase Australian stories.

With a Bump film and He Had it Coming landing this month. Stan are celebrating a decent number of Australian stories on their streaming service.
