Blindspot Season 2.

After seven episodes Blindspot season 2 has ditched the tattoos and introduced Jane's mothers terrorist group Sandstorm. Another Aussie Luke Mitchell has joined Sullivan Stapleton for this NBC carbon copy of the Blacklist.

This show has serious parallels to the Blacklist replacing Reddington's Blacklist with Jane's Tattoos for each case/episode.

Once the tattoo is cracked, clues are put together, case solved, no good guys harmed, credits roll, next episode. Rinse & repeat.

Like the Blacklist this grew tired and the Blacklist has since evolved and truly become one of my favourite US shows over there main TV season. With a spin off in the works for the Blacklist I wonder whether Blindspot will get the same treatment with the introduction of Sandstorm.

One can not confuse this terrorist organisation Sandstorm with the below Darude classic!

What a Saturday anthem hey!

So Blindspot it's still a ratings success compared to some already flatlining new US shows (looking at you Notorious) and for NBC these procedural crime shows are the only thing keeping them going. Remember when they took a gamble on musical dramas like Smash, FAIL!

Tomorrow I hope to conclude the sex on legs that is Luke Cage and I am desperate to dip my toe in the new HBO waters with Divorce and Insecure.
