That Movie Gay #2016

Tina Fey made me laugh, smile and enjoy the cinema with Sisters and continued to do so with the amazing WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT.

Based on the book The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan, this follows reporter/foul mouthed and honest Kim Barker in a war no one really seemed all that interested in the longer it ran.

It was inspiring, funny, honest and a gosh darn good film in a see of rather average films of late. After Bastille Day I was excited to return to the cinema for some action and this time around comedy/drama.

Tina Fey really is on point and just delivers some wonderful lines and as does Billy Bob Thornton and Aussie Margot Robbie who is delicious as the hottest female reporter on the ground.

The film features plenty of bad words and a lot of honest examinations of the war and the way the media were involved now we are used to a 24 hour news cycle.

If you are looking to escape the super hero genre or the recent run of school holiday films, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is the perfect film for you, I enjoyed this to no end, Tina Fey you are two from two this year with me girl, 4.25 Stars.
