Young Rock was one of my favourite COVID binge watches in early 2022. However season two didn't reach those incredible peaks of season one. Or maybe it was due to the fact that I didn't have a massive fever or throat that was full of razor blades!
I have never been a huge fan of US network sitcoms. They are lame, lack the swear words that make HBO comedies like Veep and MAX title Hacks work so well.
Censoring comedy from swear words should also be a crime. That said Young Rock was renewed for a third season.
Randall Park continues to be charming throughout season two. Uli Latukefu also continues to be handsome AF!
Season two enders, really leaves the door wide open for a third season. I am not sure where they will go exactly with the plot, however I have a fair idea.
Young Rock moves to Fridays in the USA later this year, so this will make easy Saturday afternoon/evening viewing. I feel NBC will give it one last go before it goes out to rest with a number of other series calling it a day.
If you are homebound with the spicy cough or have been hot by the return of the flu, Young Rock on Binge might just be for you.
