@ the Movies 2012 - Pitch Perfect {Preview Screening}

It number one saddens me that with piracy etc at such a high rate that this film has taken so long to get here after opening around 6 weeks earlier in the states.  So on my previous Friday night I saw an "advance" (not very advance when millions of Americans had already seen it) screening @ Sydney's movie hot spot the George Street Cinemas.

So to the movie and firstly the lead Anna Kendrick is just sublime, she was a stand out support in End of Watch and now amaze balls as the lead in this very Glee like feature "Pitch Perfect".

Rebel Wilson also shines much in this than she did in the lacklustre "Bachelorette" film recently.  Her character Fat Amy has some great open liners and some great moments.

If you like Glee you are going to adore this, if you like comedies and music you will enjoy this and if you like teen/collage drama comedies you will like this.

With a strong supporting cast, great music and a really easy to watch enjoyable film I strongly recommend this to all of y'all out there.

As school holidays approach this is perfect for the high school kids, great for uni holidays and for all us oldies a good look into the life of vocal groups.

It's not a must must see but a movie that really does aim to please.
