MAY DAY (TV Month): Quantico {Season 2 - Finale}

In 2015-2016 Quantico was one of the hottest new titles on TV, second season however this show got it's renewal the same day as it's finale. And to boot unlike this season and the first, what I am assuming is the third and final season will be cut to 13 episodes.

From 22 long and drawn out episodes this season I am hoping the episode count will help cut the fat from a show that drags from late September all the way through to late May the following year.

So to the finale which in my mind could have been the final episode ever. How neatly it all wrapped up compared to it's first season farewell.

It's been a tough year for the ABC series and even with the sexy addition of Russell Tovey from HBO's Looking and David Lim the series seemed doomed from the get go. A good one season story but with too much going on and then adding Marcia Cross to try and save the sinking ship plus sexy as can be Weeds king Hunter Parrish, it became a revolving door of TV legends and upcoming stars.

When the episode came to a close one could easily say, look this show had it's moments, it had a lot of locker room scenes with handsome gentlemen in towels but there is only so much locker room fun one can have on network US television.

Give this season a go if your a Tovey, Cross, Parrish or original cast fan but this really is a for the fans season only. Let's hope they really hit the reset button hard next year.
