Silver Screen in 2017 {The Big Sick}

What happens when you attend a film you don't have a lot of excitement about and it turns out to be, well fantastic. It's time for my take on the Big Sick.

Some know Kumail Nanjiani as Dinesh on HBO's killer nerd comedy Silicon Valley and we all know producer Judd Apatow from Trainwreck, This is 40, Bridesmaids, Superbad and so many more.

Zoe Kazan is Kumail's love interest and Holly Hunter and Ray Romano are adorable as Kumail's could be in laws.

It's a highly adorable and remarkable, it's even more impressive it's written by Kumail and his real life wife (played by young Zoe Kazan) Emily V. Gordon.

It's an interesting concept for a rom com mixing race relations and culture clash and love in the modern era.

Love is hard, love is tough and in this film love is beautiful. The message of love is love is never more true than in this film.

I enjoyed this a lot, the laughs are a little few and far between by I gave up on wanting a comedy and I settled for a feel good film. And honestly feel good films are harder to come by these days. Comedies with the word fuck used multiple times, common, leaving the cinema with a goofy grin, not so common.

4 Stars, beautiful.
