Cinema Slut #2019 - Ready or Not

The brilliant Samara Weaving (SMILF, Picnic at Hanging Rock and upcoming Ryan Murphy series Hollywood) is excellent as the lead in this black comedy horror. Niece of Aussie legend Hugo Weaving, Samara has been making a real name for herself overseas, now cast as a leading lady, is Samara the next Margot Robbie?

So to the ultra violent film Ready or Not. It's super bloody whilst not taking itself too seriously at all.

2019 really is the year of horror movies. We still have a few more to come including Doctor Sleep and Black Christmas, I can't wait!



Ready or Not also stars former The OC star Adam Bordy, legendary Andie MacDowell and Revenge's Henry Czerny.

Yes it sounds like a lot of TV stars have come together for this Canadian production, however it's a damn fun ride.

From the wedding to the sinister game of hide and seek, Ready or Not is a bloody battle to the very end.

Will Samara the bride survive her new husband and his twisted family? Pop off to the cinema this weekend to find out. It's a slow week for new releases so if you are up to date this is a fun, blood soaked adventure, 3.5 Stars.
