Riverdale Season 4.

For three seasons we have followed red headed Archie Andrews around crime filled Riverdale, however episode one of season four takes stock and mourns the loss of Fred Andrews, following the sad and unexpected death of fellow main character Luke Perry.

The episode even featured a sneak BH90210 flashback with Brenda (I mean Shannen Doherty) making an appearance.

KJ Apa still got some thirsty time with a 4th of July parade float scene early in the episode, otherwise the show managed to keep many of the main male characters clothed for the first time.

The episode was refreshing after last seasons silliness of the farm mixed with the tired game Griffons and Gargoyles. Along with the series about to launch it's first offical (Sabrina ended up just being a solo Netflix thing) spinoff in Katy Keene The CW has high hopes for it's teen mystery/drama.

Along with Archie, Jughead, Veronica and Betty always seem to get themselves into some kind of trouble and instead of school end up solving mysteries as well as encountering murder and lot's of Archie skin along the way.

The show is far from perfect, what it is however is 100% escapism. So in a world filled with impeachment hearings and pending wars, log onto your Netflix or The CW app (in the USA) and get an eye full of Archie's abs in season four. It literally just started, literally.
