Cheese, cheese and more cheese!
This movie delivers exactly what you expect, nearly two hours of fairly cut and dry gags that Adam Sandler has perfected over his highly successful careers. This movie features the three C's:
1. Cameos - Everyone from Chris Rock to Mariah Carey
2. Comedy - Adam Sandler and the excellent supporting cast really deliver a very funny generic American comedy
3. Camp music - I loved the soundtrack, high camp and fun!
This movie really delivers for me, in a time of depression over fuel prices, high interest rates and extreme teenage binge drinking (visit King Street, Newtown on a Friday/Saturday night for evidence, it's Goon Bag city!) this movie is a bright light in a bleak 2008.
Adam Sandler is incredibly talented and definitely deserves this film to succeed in the sea of blockbusters currently at your local cinema.
This film is nowhere near ground breaking, nor will it win any awards, however this film is perfect comedy for little old me, it rates a BIG four stars!
