The Peter Duncan film starring ex Blue Heeler William Mc Innes is a romantic, dramatic tale. The story takes place sin rural Queensland and for the most part of the film (unless you have done your research) you hardly know what's going on.
The film however does develop into a touching and sometimes horrific tale. The leads are both pretty decent and the interaction between an Aussie bogan and an timid Afghani woman is quite an interesting story in itself.
This won't be every one's cup of tea and it is definitely a different Aussie film, however it kicked a few goals for me and I give it three Aussie stars!
