Mum's the Word 2: Teenages

Now playing at the Theatre Royal

Well I saw Grumpy Old Women and Menopause last year so I was ready for another female (mid aged) theatre show. Grumpy Old Women lacked something and Menopause really worked well (I think the no interval thing worked a treat!) and left you laughing after the final curtain call.

Mum's the Word may have also worked a lot before if it was one simple hour and a half act. The dancing to "Don't Cha" and "Soulja Boy" were funny, that bloody Soulja Boy really is a joke in it's self.

Over the trains going underneath the Theatre Royal always proving challenging for long monologues and the material is a little two familiar after two similar shows. The cast works well together and also in their solo performances, this is one for the old girls and definitely for anyone who thinks having children is going to be an easy task.

Mum's the Word 2: Teenagers rates 3 familiar stars.
