Sunday matinee (Nana time) 15th June 2008
Well another show that has moved into the very popular little venue the See-More Save-More Centre.
This musical has been huge oversees and has received mainly positive feedback so far after opening last week.
The show clocks up an hour and half without an interval, with all singing, all dancing fun from five very different but like able leads.
Altarboyz hits all the right chords with the dancing, however some of the songs are lost in Catholic transaction. The boyz all look the part and work the stage and audience.
Some parts of the show are a little slow and other parts you feel like you are at a Backdoor Boyz concert or maybe even a Human Nature cover show.
Overall the show occurs comic relief and the timing could not be better, with the wonderful WYD 2008 on the horizon.
Altarboyz rates a very holy 3 stars
