Azealia Banks album Finally...

Drops.... yes after originally set for release in September 2012, it now finally sees the light of day. After splitting from her label and going out on her own and releasing this on an indie label it's a miracle it's finally here.

This album is currently my feature over at Flashing off the Record all this week. Yes this is music based posted and would normally live on my other blog but I can't get enough of this album. Since it randomly appeared on iTunes on Friday (much like U2's latest album appeared on all my Apple devices) I have not stopped listening to this wonderful release.

It took forever to come but now that it is finally here we can see how far Azealia has come since 212.

There are tracks fans would know, "212" (as above", "Luxury" from the Fantasea Mixtape, "Yung Rapunxel", "Heavy Metal & Reflective" & the latest cut "Chasing Time". But it's the great album cuts like the MJ Cole produced "Desperado", "JFK" features Theophilus London and "Wallace" finally sees the light of day after tweets and hints from Ms Banks.

A great album delivered in true Beyonce style, no warning but with a great result, it's already had critical acclaim and I am sure the true Azealia fans will rush out and grab this album.

Well done Azealia Banks, you may even be lucky to get an album of the year nod before this year (which is rapidly coming to a close) wraps up. Yes keep an eye on Flashing off the Record for all my end of year wraps and this blog will shine the spotlight on film and maybe even TV this year.

Til then, laters...
