Film Freak 2014 - Pride

Now for a film for the older generation, but like the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel sometimes these films are completely engaging. So without revealing too much it's a great story of the struggle of the miners supported by a group of Gays & Lesbians. It's touching and fun filled and such an easy watch.



Whilst watching this film I thought this had musical written all over it (think Billy Elliot plus gays) and with a little reading of Wikipedia, yes a musical is likely to be on the way.

So after a few weeks away from the comfort of the cinema and a hot (almost Summer's) day, this was perfect. The acting was amazing and the script was fun and to think the world is currently going through another conservative nightmare.

Pride is so full of heart it was hard not to smile ear to ear, I love a UK film at the grey rinse crowd, I have to give Pride four fully gay as stars, just wonderful.
