(Not at the) Cinema Slut #2019 - Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile

Zac Efron is a babe, yes but can he save my second Netflix original film?

Short answer NO. Based on memoir The Phantom Prince: My Life with Ted Bundy, Efron stars as Bundy whilst the film is told via the point of view from Elizabeth Kendall (Lily Collins).

The world is obsessed by true crime and honestly I knew little about Ted Bundy except he was bad, real bad.

The movie at times almost pleads Bundy's innocence, whilst at times the pacing is really off, then it seems to end rather abruptly.

The reviews are slightly mixed for this crime film and honestly with so much else on Netflix this is just for Efron fans.

Put it on your list but save it for a rainy day. We are in peak US TV finale gold at present, Game of Thrones ending in less than a week, Riverdale on Netflix concluding for the third season tomorrow and The Blacklist about to wrap on the weekend.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile is not shocking, nor that interesting, 2.5 stars, yes it just passes, Efron does do a good job.
