What's On @ the Movies 2013 - War World Z

When action is done well and creates good tension it makes for an EPIC film. With sequels planned I found this easier to reconcile the ending after seeing a trilogy of Zombie films was planned.

The action sequences and zombies are all done well, the lack of graphic violence also needs to be awarded as this is great not to just turn into another GORE porn epic.

Brad Pitt is excellent as the lead and I really enjoy seeing him on the big screen, he seems to be one of those actors who doesn't pick horrid films.

It's a rather slow time of the year at the movies so this has come just in time. This film had a huge budget of $200 Million and I hope it makes it all back (let's face it if people can sit through After Earth or the Hangover Part III they can sit through this) and the sequels get green lit.

If you like "Walking the Dead" and other new Zombie films you will enjoy this. It's a fun ride and the special effects/make up are great.
